Pinball Arcade is a pinball simulation game for Windows PC.

Pinball Arcade takes players back to the days of arcade games and the feeling of mashing the 'flipper' buttons on a pinball machine just to see the ball whiz around corners and bumpers and light up with noisy ping ping pings. In the game, however, you never run out of quarters to play.

Set on the Medieval Madness pinball table, the game offers challenges to players to keep the ball in play while shooting it over bumpers and ramps using two pinball levers which control the flippers. The game supports single and multiplayer, online action.

Old-style pinball sound effects add to the impression of a pinball game arcade, and the graphics make the virtual pinball machine look fairly real. Cameras give excellent angles on the play. Add-ons will cost money but give the player more pinball tables like Star Trek, Scared Stiff, Monster Bash, Circus Voltaire, PinBot, Creature From the Black Lagoon, Big Shot, Black Knight, Space Shuttle and more as created by designers Bally, Williams, Gottlieb and Stern Pinball.

Pinball Arcade was created by Farsight Studios. Farsight Studios has also come out with the software titles Pinball FX2, Balls of Steel, Worms Pinball, Anarchy Arcade, and Dream Pinball 3D. Pinball Arcade was released in November 2014 as part of an initiative by Farsight Studios to preserve classic pinball games in a digital form. Since that time, Pinball Arcade Season Two and Season Three and variations on the game have been released following the success of Pinball Arcade.

Pinball Arcade will require a computer with Windows XP and up, 9 GBhard drive space, 1 GB RAM, Dual Core 1.6 ghz or higher processor, DirectX version 9.0c, a graphics card which can support Direct X 9.0c and Shader Model 3.0. For Windows 7 users, a dual core 2.0 ghz and up processor, 4 GB RAM, DirectX version 11, 9 GB of hard disc space, a Direct Sound capable card, 4 GB RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or better or ATI HD 6950 or further.

It is possible to play using a Xbox 360 wired controller attached to the computer's USB port. Other gaming system controllers may be supported too.
